About Us

Beverley Court is a specialist dementia home for 28 residents established over three floors with a lift for access to all floors. We have one main lounge for relaxing, entertaining and socialising alongside an activities room. We have a garden with beautiful planted borders along with a patio area with a summerhouse and flower planters that residents plant out as part of the activities that we offer.

Activites at Beverley Court

We have a busy Activity schedule which changes on a regular basis, a sample Activities Calendar can be seen displayed in the reception area at Beverley Court along with photos from activities already achieved this year.

Our Activities Room called ‘The Sunshine Room’ is brightly decorated with large frontage bay windows overlooking the garden. The Sun Room plays a strong part in both our dementia care and our rehabilitation respite care due to having facilities for activities as well as a small kitchen area. It lends itself to quizzes, chess, dominoes, arts/crafts as well as baking and simple home tasks.

We have frequent visits from hairdressers and chiropodists should residents wish to avail themselves to these services along with weekly visits from external entertainers where relatives are welcome to join in. Families are also invited to support our monthly Taster Days, and Afternoon Teas.

Our Care

For those with minor nursing requirements, a large team of district nurses visit the home daily to oversee those residents in their charge.

We operate an open door policy at Beverley Court and so we would love to welcome you and show you round so you can see for yourself or come in and read our latest CQC ‘Good’ report. Dawn, the home manager, will be happy to speak with you and answer any questions you have.
